Today, far from southern France I have a huge lavender bush in front of my house with abundant purple goodness. And there are several ways to use it in recipes, the trick is to not make it taste too soapy…
Lavender Sugar is easy to make and the bases for a lot of sweet lavender recipes like scones, coffee cakes and more!
- 6 lavender flower clippings
- 1 cup of sugar
1. Layer the lavender flowers with the sugar in an air tight container.
2. Let the sugar soak up the aroma for at least 2 days.
